is functional really good enough?
what does good enough even mean? what do we even do here?
these are weird questions and questions we very much need a bit more time to explain. the site is unfinished if it wasn't obvious, but anything worth doing takes time.
as it sits, we have a selection of consoles from an immense backlog of work for sale on our eBay Page! this will be expanded over the foreseeable future with everything from refurbished office computers to unmatched prices on weird imports.

with all of that above being written, i'd like to take a moment or four to explain the sentiments and philosophies of what made us the weird tinkerers we are here at ji-go-ku PC today. we aim to show the practicality and odd passion of devices long since forgotten, and we want you to embrace these flames with us.
repairing a device is always better than buying a new one. this is less waste in not only a trash basket level but a factory level too. repairs are intimidating, but they shouldn't be. some repairs that gain you another ten years out of your device are so simple you'd never realize how far a single screwdriver can get you.
we are a repair business that doesn't want to repair your device. we would rather teach you how to use the tools so common they're cheaper than your morning coffee and help you realize just how much power you can squeeze out of a computer you were going to throw out spending a paycheck to replace. we advocate for the cheap fixes with budget parts that allow practical use of devices that were perfectly functional when you bought them..
..and as much as you might wonder why your iphone doesn't charge very well or why your laptop takes thirty minutes to open netflix, the information has been right in front of you for longer than the device has existed. from the most simple to the deepest rabbit holes, we want to not only show you how to fix your stuff but make you excited to open one more weird thing up.
these are the philosophies that our coalition of nerds embrace. we love weird things, and sometimes being weird feels much more natural than what you'd figure would be the straightforward path. we have a store (that's still being relaunched, bear with us!) that sells weird merch and repaired consoles at aggressively competitive prices, and we'd love to answer your weird tech questions the best we can.
interested? come check out some of our other feeds to stay up to date. there's always more going on behind the scenes that we're excited to share when we can. ready to embrace flames?
